Want to Help?
TAKE ACTION!

.........................................................................
I Need your help!
Let Obama know that we want sworn
testimony about Rove's own role in the
politicization of the Department of Justice
and politically motivated prosecutions of
Democratic leaders, including me.
The Obama White House has hinted that it
might encourage Congress to cut a deal with Karl Rove in exchange
for his testimony about possible crimes in the Bush administration. Bad
idea!
Please encourage Obama and Holder to support Conyers in fighting
the good fight against injustice.
Call Attorney General Eric Holder

Here are 3 other things that you can do! Choose
one or all these actions to help!
....................................................................................................................................................
1. Call the White House and let President Obama
know your opinions on these subjects.!
The House Judiciary Committee has been at work to restore justice
and bring balance back to the 3 branches of government. Here is what
they have done striving to investigate the Don Siegelman case.
1. On Oct. 23, 2007 a hearing was held to review the Siegelman case and
other cases of selective prosecution.
2. On April 17, 2008 the House Judiciary Committee asked Rove to testify
about the Don Siegelman Case and more. He claimed executive privilege.
3. On May 18, 2008, in response to his refusal to voluntarily testify, the
House subpoenaed Karl Rove to appear before them on July 10, 2008.
4. On July 10, 2008 Karl Rove refused to honor the subpoena and did not
show up. In fact he was out of the country.
5. Now the House must pass a resolution to hold Karl Rove in contempt.
Please urge your congress person to support the contempt resolution! To
email your congress person now, click here.
6. Now, Rove is to appear on Feb. 23,2009. Will he testify under oath?
...Thank them for their work so far and encourage them to press on!

2. Thank these former Attorneys General by email
Fifty-two former state Attorneys General from 40 of the 50 states, both
Democrats and Republicans, submitted a petition urging the United
States Congress to investigate the circumstances surrounding the
investigation, prosecution, sentencing and detention of Don
Siegelman, the former Governor of Alabama. It's simple! Click here to
find out how.
Their courageous act got results and helped influence the Judiciary
Committee to investigate among others, the Siegelman Case.
Then on May 31, 2008, a bipartisan group of 54 former state attorneys
general from across the country filed a federal appeals brief
supporting former Alabama Gov. Don Siegelman's bid to overturn his
criminal conviction.
Please thank these men and women for standing up for the integrity of
the attorney general position.

3. Contact the Members of the Committee on
Oversight and Government Reform!
Contact the Oversight Committee and encourage them to continue
their investigations of Jack Abramoff. Tell them that their job is not yet
finished and an investigation of Abramoff's ties to Alabama promises
to reveal more of the "whole picture" than formerly known.
