Is the Department of Justice Prosecution of
Siegelman Politically Motivated?

The Simpson affidavit indicates that the White House used
the Federal Department of Justice to accomplish political
purposes, prosecuting politicians that got in the way of White
House purposes. Jurisprudence which is politically motivated,
    is not.

Where is the Quid Pro Quo?

Political donors are legally entitled to support candidates that
hold positions with which the donors agree, or which will
benefit the donors. Such conduct becomes bribery only
when there is an identifiable exchange between the
contribution and official acts and the term, quid pro quo
denotes such an exchange. The term may also be used to
describe blackmail, where a person offers to refrain from
some harmful conduct in return for valuable consideration.

Why was there Failure to Investigate Jury
Misconduct?

The US Attorney office had evidence of jury misconduct, and
refused to investigate the misconduct. Furthermore they
chose to exclude it from being heard at an evidentiary
    hearing.

Why didn't Judge Fuller Recuse himself from the
Siegelman case?

One of the most fundamental questions is whether the judge
who presided over the trial has a background that should
have disqualified him. I believe a careful review of the record
leaves no doubt of that. Fuller has a strong record of political
engagement, much of it in opposition to Siegelman. Finally,
Fuller appears to generate much of his income from
politically-linked contracts awarded by the Bush
Administration. It is astonishing that none of these matters
were examined or discussed in Alabama as the case was
launched. But this reflects the uninformed or at least
strangely incurious media that dominates the state.

What is the magic ingredient in Teflon Bob's
teflon? Why is it so impervious?

The McCain’s Senate Report (called High Five) dated June
2006 which documented the confessions of Jack Abramoff
and his partner lobbyist Michael Scanlon. Although McCain’s
Senate investigation proved that millions of dollars from the
Choctaw Indians illegally came into Alabama no one was
indicted in Alabama by the U.S. Attorneys or the AL. Attorney
General, or the Alabama Ethics Commission. Why???

Troubling Questions
This Prosecution is riddled with contradictions, gaps in logic,
suspect motivations, sloppy jurisprudence and even immoral and
unethical behaviors that refuse the transparency that democracy
requires. These are some of the questions that are most troubling.
