unfolded with a flow chart showing the complex relationships....and
the central figure in the process is certainly William Canary, the

The White House must release its visitor logs and cannot hide behind
a shield of privilege, a federal judge ruled Monday. The Bush
administration has resisted public disclosure while it fights a lawsuit
over alleged political influence by conservative Christian leaders.

Noel Hillman Gets a Subpoena

....Well, it turns out [Hillman] did get subpoenaed.
As a reminder, Noel Hillman used to be head of the Public Integrity
Section of DOJ. Now he's a judge in New Jersey and had been an
appointee to the Appeals Court, before Bush got cold feet and pulled
his nomination. Jill Simpson, the lawyer who has sworn under oath
that Karl Rove was involved in the prosecution of Don Siegelman,
testified that Rove was arm-twisting Hillman to prosecute Siegelman.
