The Civil Side of the Siegelman Saga, Part II
by Roger Shuler of Legal Schnauzer
....Where are Bill Pryor's records from his tenure as Alabama attorney
general? Why couldn't an organization or a group of individuals bring
a lawsuit to ensure that Pryor's records are brought to light? Aren't
Pryor's records from his time as a state officeholder supposed to be in
the State Archives, where they could be viewed by citizens? Are
Pryor's records where they are supposed to be? A source tells me
that Pryor's AG records are stashed away under lock and key at an
improper location. Isn't this state property?

Blogger Blasts Alabama Media in Siegelman
Saga
NewsChannel 19's Greg Privett reports - WHNT
...."In my mind, the Siegelman story was not the saga of a corrupt
politician," he said. "It was the story of an investigation, prosecution,
and trial conducted in an unlawful and highly unethical fashion."
Horton, a blogger and writer has focused on exposing what he calls a
partisan agenda by Republicans to destroy Democrats. Horton
characterized the problem as off the charts: "Further off the charts
than most of the cases I've studied in the former Soviet Union," he
said.
