Loyal Bushies Warp Justice Department
Mission
By Margaret Carlson of Bloomburg

....Thornburgh said that when he ran the Justice Department, every
communication from the White House had to go through him to
insulate law enforcement from political pressure. Not so now. The

Republican U.S. Attorney trying to curry favor with a Department,
which demonstrated that if you play by its rules, you will advance.''

Case
by Scott Horton of Harper's

buried facts are now working their way to the surface. Hang on. It’s
going to be a long, rough ride. But in the end, Truth is going to
prevail.

Siegelman's indictment and trial couldn't have come at a worse time
to kill his hopes of regaining the Governor's office...

Former U.S. Attorney General
Richard Thornburg, a Republican
who served under President
Reagan and the first President
Bush, is upset by the partisan
drift of the DoJ.
