CBS "60 Minutes"
The Prosecution of Governor Siegelman
There is a commercial at the beginning of the tape so CBS can afford to provide
this service at no cost to us. The "60 Minutes" show will start in 30 seconds.

Parts of "60 Minutes" Broadcast blocked in
Alabama...
by Larisa Alexandrovna of Huffington Post
Update:
We are now being told that it was a technical issue with CBS in New
York:
We apologize that you missed the first segment of 60 Minutes
tonight featuring "The Prosecution of Don Siegelman."
It was a techincal(sic) problem with CBS out of New York. We
are working with them right now to see if we can re-broadcast
the segment.
Please be patient with us during this time. We are doing our
best to correct the problem.
Excuse me? Are they trying to tell us that a glitch in New York ONLY
happened in Alabama -- which is the topic of the 60 Minutes
broadcast -- and ONLY during the Don Siegelman segment? Are you
kidding me? We have selective prosecution and now we have
selective news delivery?

ALGOP Statement Regarding Jill Simpson's
Accusations to Air on 60 Minutes
by the Alabama Republican Party
CBS News and 60 Minutes’ disdain for the Republican Party brought
them embarrassment when they ran a bogus and fraudulent story
about President Bush and his National Guard record in the fall of
2004 – ultimately admitting to not having followed “basic journalistic
principles”. It appears that same revulsion for the GOP is bringing
them embarrassment once again as they air yet another fiction.
Today, the staff of the New York Times must be relieved they are not
alone in having their liberal political bias examined on the national
stage.”
It is becoming apparent that Dana Jill Simpson will fabricate any claim
in order to extend her 15 minutes in the public spotlight....

Another Abusive Prosecution by Alice Martin
by Scott Horton of Harper's
They give an account of a prosecution that Martin brought against a
Huntsville entrepreneur, charged with violations of the Arms Export
Control Act. It appears that the principal offense committed by the
defendant, Alex Latifi, was breathing while being of Middle Eastern
extraction.

St Valentine was the patron saint of political prisoners. That makes Don Siegelman the St. Valentine of Alabama!

Bush appointed US Attorney who was referred to in a sworn statement as one of Bill Canary's "girls" who would "take care" of Siegelman.
She was politically mentored by Hickman Ewing, known as Kenneth Starr's dark side.
